so...i have some caulerpa in my tank. a lot of it is brown and wilty now.
i just bought some chaeto saturday...and bits of it are turning clear.
i assume these issues are both related to low lighting so i stepped it up a bit.
wondering if anyone had any other ideas on what may be causing macro algae to do these things.
i know i have a habit of nuking things...but...this is freaking plants..one would figure it'd be easier than that.

Usually its because of poor light. My cheato grows like weeds, I harvest it about once a every week or two.

i have found that to grow macro's i needed to warm my lights up. or grow w

ith a lower spectrum 5600 or lower works for me

I have mine at 6500k on my filter and cheato grows like crazy. I am awesome with fish tanks though hhaha...
