Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has an Aqua Clear filter that they would be willing to sell or trade for something.

I wouldn't suggest one... I got one for my 29g QT, and used it once for about 2 weeks. After that I ran FW through it overnight to clean out the pump. I took it out a month later ad it wouldn't work at all.

I would suggest an eheim or marineland instead..

I have a 90g FOWLR. It contains 130lbs of white sand(the black sand on craigslist us mine, haha) 75lbs live rock. My livestock includes:

-2 ocelleris clowns 1"
-yellow headed sleeper goby 4"
-scooter blenny 2"(looking for new home)
-dogface puffer 5"
-copperband butterfly 5"
-longhorn cowfish 1.5"

I have a small blue spotted ray on order.

And for experience, I have a little over 1 year under my belt.

Wow your tank sounds awesome. I have always been interested in blue spot rays but I do not have a tank large enough for them. Thats hilarious about that sand being yours...do you think you are going to come to any of the meetings?

Thats great we always want more members. So if you know anyone who has a saltwater tank you should mention us to them too. The next meeting is the first Saturday of may.

hey jones, if there's anyway i can get you to save me like a cup or so of your sand that would be greatly appreciated...
see...i bought some black sand from petco, added my homemade rock before it was fully cured...and turns out my ph was a little too high for my sand.

Yeah I can give you a sandwich baggy full, would you be able to pick it up tomorrow?

by the way, my definition of "close" is about a 1.5 mile parameter.

Haha okay... If I'm in the area perhaps I'll drop it off. I'm over in WV.
