Hey guys, does anyone have a light to fit a 29 gallon tank? The tank measures 30"X12"X18" and I'm looking to reaplce the old flimsy glass top and small one bulb/ballast light fixture. I see some really nice ones for around $200 or so but the rest on top of the tank with nothing in between. This to me is an eyesore not too mention it allows the water to evaporate very quickly leaving tons of salt everywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions or answers to this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

LaCorski

Not to be annoying but Aquatraders lights are crap. They are not UL listed and have been known to have ballasts catch fire, they supposedly stepped up their game but who knows. For a cheap light check out fishneedit.com, thats where I just got 4 new lights from.

Thanks guys. I hate to hear that because I decided to purchase a light from them. It was the size, shape and price I was willing to pay at this time. Let's hope I have better luck with it that others have had in the past. I'll keep you posted. I also bought a nice timer from Dr. Fosters that should run all the lights just they way they should be. I was looking at least $200 more for a comparable setup elsewhere. We'll see! Thanks again for your helpful posts.

LaCorski.
