i know a lot of ppl are against using nudibranchs to take care of problems...but luckily, this is a "head-shield" slug(like a bubble shell). and...they only eat planarian worms(flatworms) and do so quite voraciously. check em out. here are a number of sites you can purchase them from.

the problem is they starve after they eat all of the flat worms.

the same is true of anything else you put in your tank.
if you dont supply it w/ food...it dies...doesnt matter what it is.
example: everyone that bought bubble shells from shelly.

and like everything you put in your tank, you can trade it off to other people
that can also benefit from them.
In this instance: Petco has flatworms. doesnt make sense to irradicate the problem
from our tanks and then go buy more items and get our tanks infected again, so,
you could pass it on to lyndsay.

like i said, some people frown upon it, but, honestly, when you look at the problems
flatworms create(not allowing zoa's to open and thereby killing them), the death of
one seaslug is probably better than losing hundreds of dollars of zoa's. That's just
my opinion though.

you'd be singing a different tune if flatworms kept SPS from opening now wouldnt you?
money is money...regardless of what you spend it on..it all adds up
