Subject: what are you looking for? Wed Apr 29, 2009 8:35 pm
I was just wondering what everyone who is in this club or even looking at becoming a saltwater club member is looking for. I came into this not knowing what was really out there. I just thought the fish were allot nicer then tropical fish. Thanx to Suzann (sorry if I misspelled your name) she talked me into trying it out. I can say I’m glad she did. But back to the subject at hand, what are you looking for? Is it a reef set up? A fish only set up? And combination of both? Or something more specific. Some methods work better than others. Meaning the type of equipment you need to set up a tank. I am just wondering what people are looking for in their own tank.

For me I have my 24 gallon that has fish and basically star polyps and xenia and fish. As for my new 3 gallon, this will be my expensive and colorful coral tank. In there I will mainly have snails hermit crabs and sexy shrimp So for me its a mix and a reef tank. I will elaborate more at meetings if requested haha I am kinda busy right now.

Corals are pretty... But I'm into fish. I try to get fish that are different. That is why i've got my dogface, copperband, cowfish, and I just bought a shark yesterday. It's hard with the fish I have to add new ones to the tank, and making sure one or the other won't kill the newbie... Last on the list is a large angel. It's between the emperor, queen, or annularis. Any thoughts?

I would go for the emperor. They look sweet as a juvi. You should put your choice on the group order
