i dont think shipping corals right now is a good idea just imo. its damn cold out there

sounds like you better hold off on the coral then eh?

If you want my personal advise, what i wish i would have done differently.

I really would recommend that if you wanna have a reef tank someday you wanna set up a system that will grow and thrive a reef first. Then put the reef in it. i am talking about equipment. flow, lights, supplementation, filtration (skimmer.... sorry had to say it) refugium

i underline refugium because i wish i would have set one up along time ago. they are very important largely overlooked i think

Yeah I def wanna do it the right way I think I'm gonna get all the equipment all setup than transfer everything over...prob won't be for a few weeks to months though

Those 40 gal are really cool i think. I plan on tying one on my system someday. I have seen really cool 40 gal before for instance dang has 3 of them hooked up to his system and the two of them are just stocked. Rosco on rf had one growing out a bunch of things before he transfered all of it in to a 270. and because of the depth and width of the tank 1 250w mh will grow things very well. Dang supplements his with 2 blue t-5 with a very simple clip on reflector and icecap end caps.
